We booked a 4 night / 5 day private dahabiya cruise from Luxor to Aswan with Odysseys Voyage, and it was truly one of the most extraordinary travel experiences of our lives.Before booking, we were overwhelmed. Luxury Nile cruises range wildly, from large economy ships to ultra-private sailings costing tens of thousands per person. After speaking with over 50 companies, one exchange with Mohamed Mousa, the CEO, changed everything. He understood exactly what we were looking for and curated an itinerary just for us. The intimidation disappeared.We chose a traditional private dahabiya (max 10 guests), and every detail was curated around us including timing, meals, excursions, pace. From being greeted at the Luxor airport gate to Mohamed personally welcoming us at our hotel well after midnight, we immediately felt we were in excellent hands.Our private Egyptologist, Hassan, was exceptional, knowledgeable, calm, and deeply thoughtful. And the onboard crew became like family: Mahmud our butler anticipated every need; Malik, our chef, and his son prepared beautiful meals daily; Ali and Hagag kept the ship running seamlessly; and Captain Jofre led the journey with confidence and warmth, even led us in song and dance one evening!Highlights included early, near-private visits to Luxor Temple and Karnak, sailing with full billowing sails, a beach dinner under the stars on Ramadi Island, village visits during Ramadan, and sunrise at Kom Ombo before the crowds. When our Abu Simbel flight was cancelled, Mohamed and Hassan calmly reorganized everything without missing a beat.There was no chaos, no stress, no endless buffets, just intimacy, beauty, and extraordinary care.And remarkably, all of this came at a price comparable to many of the larger “luxury” cruise options we explored. From the moment we booked mo was responsive helpful and reassuring we landed everything was sorting with precision and kindness , visas sorted driver was lovely showing us points of interest and chatting with us dropped off at hotel helped with check in and sorted a breakfast box out for us to be ready for our early start the next day ,Everything run like clock work our guide Mahmoud was not only knowledgeable but so friendly and funny too on both days on all the tours , he made us feelLike we where walking with the pharaohs also with things like money exchange best shops restaurants etc everything went so smoothly and I can’t thank you and your amazing team enough for making this so memorable for usDo not hesitate to book with mo his company is by far THE BESTJanice from England
The best travel agency I have ever traveled with. They were extremely helpful and arranged many things for us, even services that were not profitable for them, such as currency exchange advice and help with hotels and flight bookings.They are very flexible with last-minute changes, respect time, and have excellent logistics. Mr. Mohamed and Mr. Osama are true experts who know exactly what you need. Mr. Rady is an outstanding tour guide — respectful, knowledgeable, and always open to questions.Everyone we dealt with was very polite and respectful, especially in their dealings with women. I highly recommend this agency, and I have already recommended them to my wife’s family for their trip to Luxor and Aswan.

I highly recommend Mohamed and Odyssey Voyage. Mohammed helped us with a very difficult request for a private drive from Dahab to Luxor. It was flawlessly executed and managed from start to finish, with no issues and fantastic communication before, during, and after. Mohamed and his team handled everything; all we had to do was send our passports and get picked up at the given time. Our 2 drivers Michael and Mohamed were friendly and safe and got us through all checkpoints without issue. Both vehicles had wifi and were extremely nice and comfortable. I would strongly recommend Odyssey Voyage for anyone’s transportation needs in Luxor and beyond.
I found this company via google. A lot of good reviews on TripAdvisor also here on google convinced me to contact with them. Our privet two trips where as described, owner was checking if everything is fine with us, minivan was clean, we got drinks amd driver was driving safely and care when we wanted to sleep or stop for toilet. Tour guide was great, funny and a told us a lot interesting things. We book those trips after unpleasant trips with tourist agency whit full bus. This experience with Odysseys changed our view about Egypt completely in good way of course. For sure we will use their help with future trips. Thank you very much for nice time for me and my family.
Absolutely fantastic experience! Mohammed was incredibly helpful with booking a 2-day tour of Luxor from Hurghada. He is so responsive to messages and made the whole process so easy. The transport was comfortable, clean and we had a lovely pit stop at a road side restaurant where I was so impressed with the cleanliness of the toilets. Our driver, Michael, drove so safely. Our guide, Rady, was so knowledgeable with great English and a fun personality. The included lunch at a local restaurant was delicious too. Would highly recommend using this company to book your Egypt tours!!

We just finished a day tour of the West Bank with Ali. What an amazing time!!! This was all organized very last minute but Mohamed (the owner) made sure all our needs were met…and then some!! On the day of our your, we met Ali who was friendly, knowledgeable and a great story teller. Ali made (often complicated) Egyptian history very accessible and come alive !! We’d highly recommend this company for great service, expertise and competitive pricing. Thank you for making our day on the West Bank so memorable ❤️
