Mohammed helped us with a very difficult request for a private drive from Dahab to Luxor. It was flawlessly executed and managed from start to finish, with no issues and fantastic communication before, during, and after. Mohamed and his team handled everything; all we had to do was send our passports and get picked up at the given time. Our 2 drivers Michael and Mohamed were friendly and safe and got us through all checkpoints without issue. Both vehicles had wifi and were extremely nice and comfortable. I found this company via google. A lot of good reviews on TripAdvisor also here on google convinced me to contact with them. Our privet two trips where as described, owner was checking if everything is fine with us, minivan was clean, we got drinks amd driver was driving safely and care when we wanted to sleep or stop for toilet. Tour guide was great, funny and a told us a lot interesting things. We book those trips after unpleasant trips with tourist agency whit full bus. This experience with Odysseys changed our view about Egypt completely in good way of course. For sure we will use their help with future trips. Mohammed was incredibly helpful with booking a 2-day tour of Luxor from Hurghada. He is so responsive to messages and made the whole process so easy. The transport was comfortable, clean and we had a lovely pit stop at a road side restaurant where I was so impressed with the cleanliness of the toilets. Our driver, Michael, drove so safely. Our guide, Rady, was so knowledgeable with great English and a fun personality. The included lunch at a local restaurant was delicious too. We just finished a day tour of the West Bank with Ali. What an amazing time!!! This was all organized very last minute but Mohamed (the owner) made sure all our needs were met…and then some!! On the day of our your, we met Ali who was friendly, knowledgeable and a great story teller. Ali made (often complicated) Egyptian history very accessible and come alive !! This review therefore focuses specifically on our Luxor experience.Guide Performance - ExcellentOur Egyptologist guide Rady demonstrated exceptional knowledge and genuine passion for Egyptian history and culture. He was particularly accommodating to our group’s interests, spending additional time at sites where we showed enthusiasm and providing detailed explanations that went well beyond the standard tour content. Rady’s energy and expertise significantly enhanced our understanding and appreciation of the historical sites, particularly at Medinet Habu where his detailed commentary on the temple’s battle reliefs covering chopping peoples heads, hands and penises off was fascinating and engaging.Shopping Experience and ResolutionThe tour included visits to local craft shops, which initially resulted in a concerning pricing discrepancy. Items purchased at one location were later found at significantly lower prices elsewhere - identical pieces with the same authentication markings were available for approximately 95% less than what we paid. However, Rady and Mohammed (company owner) learned of this situation, they took immediate action to ensure we received a full refund. Additionally, Mohammed arranged a complimentary bird watching tour with Osama to make up for the inconvenience, demonstrating excellent customer service and commitment to guest satisfaction. They were very keen to ensure a 5 star review. Overall AssessmentThe cultural and historical aspects of the Luxor portion were outstanding, thanks largely to Rady’s expertise and enthusiasm. Dreamed of coming to Egypt my whole life and Odysseys voyage made it happen! The Luxor experience from temples to hot air balloon rides was absolutely incredible. Ask for Rady to be your Luxor Guide! My husband I don’t usually prefer to book through a travel agency since we like having autonomy of where we stay and what we do. But since Egypt seemed daunting, we decided to go with Odysseys Voyage and that has to be the best decision we ever made. Firstly, CEO Mohamed was super responsive. All our requirements and modifications that were realistic were all included and fulfilled. The quality of communication and professionalism that was involved was amazing. The trip itself was absolutely wonderful. Our accommodations, the cruise, the seamless experience from one place to another, hassle free entry into attractions and everything was of high standards. It is always exciting when going back home for visits. Being able to tour around the city is an amazing experience always. If you into high places you’ll definitely enjoy the Hot-Air Ballon. As well as Luxor, Aswan has an amazing weather forecast. Overall, my tour was worth the money and time, and i really enjoyed the tour.
